Access Management.
Control access.

Access Management ensures that users, systems and digital identities can access exactly the resources they need – securely, contextually and in a controlled way.

Access Management is becoming the active shield of modern Identity Security.

After all, access no longer takes place exclusively within clearly defined organisational boundaries. Employees work on the move, customers use digital services, applications communicate automatically and AI agents increasingly act independently. Organisations therefore need to verify every access request, assess risks dynamically and enforce policies consistently.

Challenges for organisations

Insecure sign-in methods Stolen credentials Overly extensive privileged rights Inconsistent access control Complex system landscapes Growing external user groups Uncontrolled machine identities New access by AI agents Increasing regulatory requirements

KOGIT helps organisations to:

  1. 1.

    authenticate access securely

How can you reliably determine who or what wants to access a resource?
  2. 2.

    assess risks in context

Which signals indicate unusual or potentially dangerous access?
  3. 3.

    protect privileged rights

How is administrative and particularly critical access controlled, limited and documented?
  4. 4.

    enforce access policies consistently

Which rules apply to users, devices, applications and digital agents?
  5. 5.

    design customer access securely

How can security, data protection and ease of use be combined?
  6. 6.

document access in a traceable way

Which identity has access to a resource, when, why and under what conditions?

The building blocks of secure access.

Effective Access Management is not the result of a single security measure. What matters is the interplay of strong authentication, context-based decisions, clear policies and controlled access paths.

Our solutions

Risk-based authentication

Risk-based authentication assesses sign-in attempts on the basis of current contextual information such as location, device and behaviour. When the risk is low, access remains simple; when signals are suspicious, additional verification is required or access is blocked.

Privileged Access Management

Privileged Access Management – PAM for short – protects accounts and access with particularly extensive permissions. Administrative rights are provisioned in a controlled way, limited in time and their use is fully logged.

Zero Trust

Zero Trust follows the principle of not automatically trusting any access. Every request is verified again on the basis of identity, device, context and risk, regardless of network, location or previous sign-in.

Customer Identity & Access Management

Customer Identity & Access Management – CIAM for short – manages the digital identities of customers, partners and external user groups. It combines secure registration and sign-in processes with data protection, consent management and a convenient user experience.

Multi-factor authentication

Multi-factor authentication – MFA for short – supplements passwords with additional security factors. These include, for example, biometric methods, authenticator apps or physical security keys.

Access control enforcement

Access policies determine who may access applications, data and systems, and under what conditions. KOGIT helps to define these rules centrally and enforce them technically across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.

Secure access for AI agents

AI agents independently access applications, data and interfaces. KOGIT ensures that they are uniquely authenticated and granted minimal permissions, and that their access is controlled in context and made fully traceable.

Practical example:

An insurance company provides various digital services to its employees, sales partners and customers.

If an employee signs in with a known device from the corporate network, access can take place without additional hurdles. If, on the other hand, she signs in from an unknown device or an unusual location, risk-based authentication adaptively requests an additional factor.

If the employee temporarily needs administrative rights, these are provisioned via PAM for a limited time and logged. At the same time, Zero Trust ensures that every access to sensitive contract and customer data is verified again.

Customers and AI agents, too, receive only the access that is necessary for the respective process. Central policies ensure that all decisions are enforced consistently, securely and traceably.

Without verification, access becomes risk.

Without effective Access Management, stolen credentials, permanently privileged accounts and uncontrolled system access quickly become a security risk.

Especially in hybrid IT landscapes, suspicious sign-ins, inconsistent policies and access by non-human identities often go undetected – with potential consequences for security, data protection, compliance and economic stability.

KOGIT Identity Security Process

Clarity first.
Secure access follows.

KOGIT brings structure to complex access scenarios. With the KOGIT Identity Security Process, we support organisations from the initial analysis and design through to technical implementation and the continuous improvement of their Access Management.

In doing so, we combine strategy, processes and technology into a security architecture that not only enables access, but reliably controls it.
